Daily activity: make an origami envelope!
If you use an 8.5″x8.5″ square made by trimming a piece of standard 8.5×11 printer paper, the envelope turns out to be 3.5″ x 5″, which is the exact minimum legal size for mail in the US. Tape or glue the edges to make sure they don’t come unfolded during transit, then send a note to a local friend!
According to the USPS, the CDC, and the WHO, the risk of spreading Covid-19 via the mail is low, and this particular envelope has the added benefit of a no-lick seal. That being said: please delay this activity if you are ill with Covid-19 or if you have reason to think that you might be!
